Manage IP addresses that are allowed to interact with the API
Security is always paramount at Grid and we encourage best practices with our customers as well.
API keys are a virtual version of a physical key to a door. If you happen to lose the key to your home, then theoretically someone may be able to pick it up and unlock your door. The IP allowlist is the virtual equivalent of a physical key that won't unlock the door unless it's being held by someone who is authorized to do so.
