Dynamically generated, no-code application forms
Apply turns any Grid workflow into a hosted application experience your applicants can complete themselves, with no integration work on your side. Each Apply configuration is bound to a single workflow and published at a Grid-hosted URL, so the checks you have already assembled — identity verification, document collection, data furnishing, and the rest — run exactly as configured the moment an applicant submits. You can publish in one of two modes:
- An Open application is a single, always-on link you can post on your website, share in a job posting, or embed in an email campaign.
- An Individual application issues a unique, one-time-use link per applicant, which Grid can deliver directly by email or SMS on your behalf. Individual links generated through the unique link endpoint accept an optional recipient email or phone number and returns the link, its identifier, and its expiration timestamp, so you can trigger applications from your own CRM, ATS, or loan origination system and track each one back to a submission.
Alongside the application itself, you can require an e-signature acknowledgement with your own checkbox language, collect an application fee from the applicant at submission time, and surface your terms of service and privacy policy — all configured per application, with your logo and company display name presented throughout.
Apply White is the white-label upgrade to Apply, for teams that need the application to read as their own product rather than as a Grid-hosted page. With Apply White enabled, you control the full presentation layer of the applicant experience: a custom favicon, company display name, primary and secondary brand colors, typeface, and corner radius are applied across every screen, and the confirmation and invitation emails Grid sends to applicants are delivered using your branding instead of Grid's. Apply White also unlocks custom domains, so applications are served from a hostname you own — apply.yourcompany.com rather than apply.gridverify.com. You register the domain through the API, point the supplied CNAME record at Grid from your DNS provider, and Grid provisions and renews the TLS certificate automatically; certificate status is available through the API while propagation completes. Every link generated for that application — open and individual alike — is then issued on your domain. Apply White is enabled at the account level; if the module is not active on your account, the branding and custom domain endpoints return an explicit error rather than partially applying your configuration. Contact your Grid account team to enable it.
